About Longridge

Set in the stunning Northumbrian countryside, close to the Scottish Borders, Longridge Towers is a school with a very special atmosphere. It is a place where pupils not only aspire and achieve academically, but also grow and find fulfilment as individuals. The School's warm, family atmosphere makes pupils feel safe to learn and explore.

This website provides detailed information on the School, its beautiful setting and facilities, academic courses and extracurricular activities, fees and how to apply. You can also download our prospectus on the right for general information.

A particularly happy school, we are small enough to really care about each individual pupil but large enough to ensure all who come here - whether a boarder, a day pupil, a member of the Junior Department, or a sixth former - are offered the best possible start in life both educationally and socially. A Longridge education endows individuals with the character, strength, knowledge and abilities to enter the world at large with confidence and purpose.

"The unique atmosphere of Longridge Towers School is sensed by everyone connected with it, and by those who visit it.  The school is situated in an idyllic setting, and our pupils of all ages enjoy a well rounded education which equips them to take their place and lead successful lives in the wider world.  Please do come and visit us and meet our pupils and staff.  I would be delighted to show you around"
