Among the top 25%
Longridge has emerged as one of the outstanding performers in the national Value Added tables for pupils going through the secondary stage of education (11-15 years). The School's value added score at GCSE regularly places it among the top 25% of schools nationally.
Longridge Towers School is delighted to congratulate its Fifth Form (NC Year 11 pupils) on their GCSE examination successes. 31% of the grades achieved were at A* or A, and over 75% of all Fifth Formers achieved ten passes in total at grades A*-C. Sixth Formers also achieved good results at A and AS level. This year Sixth Formers distinguished themselves at A level with 56% of results at the top grades. All sixth formers who wished to go to university this year were offered places, with over 85% going to their first choice institution.
