Third Science Building Campaign Launch Evening held recently !

Last week we held our third campaign Launch Evening for the Science Building. As in previous evenings parents were taken on a tour of the school to view recent improvements in Boarding accommodation, the two new state of the art ICT suites, the refurbished Library. They also saw the current science laboratories and heard Alan Swan, the architect of the new building, and John Smithson, the Campaign Manager explain in detail how the project evolved and how it will be funded. Headmaster Anthony Clemit explained that the provision of a new Science Building is the next logical step in the development of the school that celebrated its twenty-fifth Anniversary this year. Since its re-founding twenty-five years the Longridge governors have invested constantly in the school’s facilities, which have contributed to the creation of Longridge’s unique ethos as a warm, friendly family school in which pupils of all abilities achieve and frequently exceed their potential.
