Update - Sunday 4th March 2018 4pm

Firstly, thank you for your patience over the last few days in the somewhat extreme weather conditions.

I wanted to write to let you know that Longridge will be open tomorrow (Monday 5th March) as normal. With the majority of the roads cleared in the area, all of the school buses will also be running again in the morning. We look forward to seeing everyone in School if it is safe for your children to meet their buses or to travel in with you. I would suggest that they bring boots, gloves and a waterproof jacket in with them for the breaks given that there remains quite a lot of snow on the ground still.
In the afternoon, we are hoping to run the Career High Teas for the Fifth and Sixth Forms. There will also an opportunity for these Forms to meet different advisors on the 19th March.

We also plan to go ahead with the parents meetings as listed in the calendar and as follows:

Monday 5th March – EYFS
Tuesday 6th March – EYFS, Year 2 and Year 5, and Form 3
Wednesday 7th March – Years 1 to 6

If you are driving in tomorrow morning or to these events, please do take care. The roads around Longridge are clear of snow, as is the majority of the driveway.

If you are not able to make it in for whatever reason, please contact Mrs Jobson (on cjobson@lts.org.uk) or on 01289 307584 to let us know in the morning.

Headmaster
