Junior experience
Contrary to the old aphorism, at Longridge we believe children should be both seen and heard and our junior pupils are no exception.
The school day for pupils in Reception to J3 (4 - 7 years) begins at 8.45 am and ends at 3.15 pm. When lessons end until 4.45 pm there are optional afternoon clubs to ensure the younger children are happily and fruitfully occupied. There are no additional charges for these activities.
The clubs currently comprise of:

Adventure, fun and excitement are all essential to the learning experience. In their final year (J6) junior students are given the opportunity to go on a trip to Perthshire for a long weekend where they enjoy a variety of activities from raft building, mountain biking and archery, to abseiling, climbing and canoeing.
