The school caters for pupils throughout their school career from the ages of 3-18 years. Pupils may enter the school at any age provided a vacancy exists. Longridge caters for pupils with a wide spectrum of abilities. All pupils are assessed upon entry. Pupils seeking entry to Form J4 and above are assessed in English and Mathematics, and the purpose of these assessments is diagnostic and used mainly for setting purposes. Entry to the Sixth Form is based on the attainment of at least 5 GCSEs at grade C or above. It is recommended that pupils have a grade B in the subjects which they wish to study at A level. Financial assistance in the form of scholarships and bursaries is also available.  Our entry table provides helpful information on what year your child will be placed in upon admission.

The School offers a limited amount of addition support for pupils with Special Needs: for more information download our our Special Needs Policy. To apply, please download, complete and submit our Registration Form.
