Beach life not just for summer

ONE OF the great strengths of education at Longridge Towers School on which children and parents regularly comment is our outdoor learning.

Outdoor education is a vital part of every child’s development and, with such a wonderful variety of inland and coastal environments around us, our Forest and Beach Schools are a staple part of every week.

We will be dropping in on the Forest School soon, but this week our new marketing team photographer Annie Mania joined Beach School to provide a glimpse into our younger children’s weekly adventure at one of our wonderful local beaches.

We head out in all weathers, and the education, and huge variety of interest and fascinating questions, that these mornings stimulate, our teachers also say, provides a wonderful regular window into our environment and route to knowledge.
