Schools converge on Longridge for cross-country
Longridge was again the epicentre of an explosion of cross-country athletics when nearly 300 children from schools from as far afield as Edinburgh and Newcastle flocked to our wonderful estate for a great day’s competition in glorious sunshine.
The Inter Schools Cross Country is always a popular event in the independent schools calendar and Longridge pupils excelled with some great performances and lots of tremendous fun enjoyed by pupils and staff – as we can see from the pictures below.
Thank you to all the schools who came to Longridge once again for a great day of competition and sportsmanship, and to all our staff and volunteers who helped to ensure all the children enjoyed a terrific course in a fun, safe and enjoyable environment, and one which tested the best of the schools’ cross-country athletes.
